Old fashioned, rib-sticking country cooking: Big Food, worth waiting for. Corned beef and other sandwiches, salads, burgers, omelets, scrambles and breakfast potatoes, chicken fried steak, biscuits, battleship-sized cinnamon rolls. Nice "howdy neighbor" atmosphere adds appeal.

Best Breakfast Top 3 Winner

A Saturday morning brunch can satisfy appetites for the weekend. Unhurried, bountiful breakfasts feature omelettes (the Maltby is a huge affair, stuffed with assorted vegetables, ham cubes and even pieces of roast beef). Good new potatoes, old-fashioned oatmeal and thick slices of French toast round out the menu. The cafe's renowned cinnamon rolls are the size of bread loaves, big enough to fill at least two bellies.
  • I was searching for a great breakfast spot with amazing cinnamon rolls. And guess what? I found it!

  • We have been coming to Maltby Cafe for at least 10 years. We have celebrated many special occasions and taken countless visitors. We love the service and the food. Try the eggs Benedict, the Swedish pancakes, the scrambles, and when you can't decide, order the pancake sandwich!

  • Be ready for a wait on the weekends, but it's my favorite breakfast place. Their menu is extensive, and you have to get a cinnamon roll.
